Frav and Drew: two telltale names and both an important showcase for young up-and-coming designers. The first is a well-established store, the second – an exciting opportunity for the future.
Not far away from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, what is defined as the “cool area” of the Lombard capital city is Frav: a multi-brand store which, alongside its own Frav collections, offers an international selection of emerging brands such as 5 Pre View, Black Noise, Dusty, Hope, Ksubi, Panda Kunst, Surface To Air, Petar Petrov and many others making it the ideal venue to present the first editorial debut by AIDE, Associazione Internazionale Designer Emergenti (International Association of Young Designers).
Based on a project by a group of students from the major Design Schools in Milan, Drew Magazine is a free press, bilingual – Italian and English – bi-monthly magazine which aims at becoming an exclusive showcase for young emerging talents from the fashion industry and the design scene at large. This first edition produced entirely at the students’ expenses is a demanding and yet incredibly praiseworthy project which has already been well-received by insiders and brands alike which are ready to invest in it.
Many thanks to Matteo Mantelli & Antonio Moscogiuri.
